My practice centers on introspective, symbolic compositions that invite viewers to consider the emotional and relational parallels between people and the natural environment. I paint metaphors for human interaction, reflecting on themes of connection, resilience, and individuality within community. My landscapes draw from the forests and shorelines of the Pacific Northwest, where I find inspiration in science and the natural world.
I began my career as an illustrator and muralist, completing large-scale public and private commissions across the region.
