Liz Ophoven

Liz Ophoven is a Seattle based artist and energy worker.  She received her BFA from Cornish College of the Arts and has created extensively in darkroom photography, figure drawing and clay sculpture. Liz is currently producing sculptures from her home studio in Georgetown and Seward Park Clay Studio.

Focusing in on the experience of developing a conversation with the medium bears confidence in that expression; Liz allows curiosity to guide her while navigating through the art making process to complete a unique and personalized piece.

Liz’s process includes asking a series of questions and releasing the expectation of a predestined result.
