Artist Statement

My work experiments with glass phenomena and physical visualization with regards to light and space. I aim to redirect this perception as unfamiliar vision, a change of perspective, by shifting and modifying sources. I am also drawn to the capacities of optical devices for structuring and extending sight. Optical devices can probe the gap between reality and imagination. I would like to explore glass as an optical device, which examines the mechanics of generating new perceptual phenomena offering the viewer new ways of seeing.
