CORE is an Associated Program of 

 

Shunpike is a 501(c)(3) non-profit art service organization whose mission is to strengthen the Seattle arts community by partnering with small and mid-size arts groups to develop the business tools they need to succeed. Working in close partnership with these groups, Shunpike helps solve problems quickly and impart vital skills in finance, organizational management and arts administration.

Collaborative Painting
Experience a collection of collaborative canvas paintings. The artwork was created by over 150 guests and supporters of local non-profits serving individuals and families who are homeless and in transition. 

Mary’s Place Day Center

The collaborative painting process provides a calm and meditative space while encouraging a sense of pride in participation and the end results. Engage with the artwork and the artists. Partnering non-profits include Mary’s Place Day Center and Northshore Family Center, Angeline’s Day Center, Street Youth Ministries, Friends of Youth and Seattle Union Gospel Mission’s Hope Place.

Annual Community Show
As a part of our mission at CORE, in December we offer the gallery to an underrepresented group, bringing awareness to their cause and building community in Seattle.
